Warranty policy
1.WARRANTY PERIOD
- Trendy Taps products carry a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
- Filters, cartridges, and other consumable parts are not covered under warranty.
2.WARRANTY CONDITIONS
- The warranty is only valid if the product is installed by a qualified and registered trade professional.
- Trendy Taps will not be held liable for any products that may be faulty due to incorrect installation.
3.EXCLUSIONS
The warranty shall be void for the following reasons:
- Inability to provide proof of purchase
- Products not installed by a qualified plumber
- Products not installed according to relevant local, national SANS regulations and by-laws
- Products not installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions
- Fitting of other devices to the outlet of the tapware
- Products used for incorrect applications, non-potable water, etc.
- Damage due to inadequate flushing of the system before use
- Service or repairs with non-approved and non-compliant replacement parts
- i. Damage to products due to exposure to caustic or corrosive substances or environments, including exposure to sea side and coastal conditions.
- Failure to clean and maintain the product as per manufacturer’s instructions
- Any damage which arises from installation or post-installation use
- Normal wear and tear
4.CLAIM PROCESS
- Damaged, defective, or incorrect goods must be reported within 14 days of delivery.
- Contact Trendy Taps at info@trendytaps.co.za for warranty claims.
- Include photos or videos in emails or via WhatsApp to 072 219 48631 for warranty claims.
- Trendy Taps will replace defective items at its own expense.
5.LIMITATIONS
- This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective products at Trendy Taps’ discretion.
- Trendy Taps is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages.
